SP1 Preliminary Specifications

Today we released the preliminary technical specifications of our upcoming stereo vision product SP1. Some of these specifications might still be subject to change, but they provide a first glimpse at the capabilities of the final system.

The SP1 is our first machine vision product and it is currently in its final stage of development. This embedded system features a powerful FPGA which is employed to perform stereo matching in real-time. Today we provide the first preliminary draft of the technical specifications for this product. Please note that some of the information might still be subject to change. For example, we currently state that the product supports image sizes of 640x480 pixels. While this will be true for the final system, we might also support other image sizes if this turns out to be feasible. Further, we have not yet decided on the resolution for the sub-pixel optimization, as work on this feature has not yet been completed. We will be updating the specifications on our SP1 product page as they change. For now, our preliminary product specifications are as follows:
