Re: Another Calibration Method

It is possible to send input image data to SceneScan through the API. If you press "reset calibration" in the web interface, SceneScan will forget it's calibration and process the input image data without rectification. Please be aware that when streaming input data through the network, th...

Re: Changing in IP of the Camera

You need to press the button for 3 seconds right from the moment when you plug in the power cable. Otherwise it will not have an effect.

It is technically not possible to have a communication with the device if you don't have a correct IP address configuration, so there cannot be a GUI for that.

Re: Changing in IP of the Camera

If the reset was successful, then the busy light will be flashing even without cameras connected, as in the default configuration it will be playing the hard-coded default sequence. If it is not flashing, then the reset was not successful and it is still at the old IP. Please consult the manual abou...

Re: Changing in IP of the Camera

Hi Eren, Is your computer in the same subnet (that is 160.69.69.x). Actually 160.x.x.x is a very unusual address range. Your computer might route this to the internet. I would recommend that you update to the latest firmware. The current firmware supports DHCP server and client. This way you can lea...

Re: No preview once calibrated

This looks like Jumbo frames are not enabled or working on your host PC. Can you try disabling jumbo frames in SceneScan's network settings? If NVCom works after this, then please check the settings of your network adapter. The configured MTU size should match the MTU size of SceneScan's settings (t...

Re: No preview once calibrated

I couldn't find an obvious problem with your configuration. According to the logs the system was running for at least 3 hours at at the configured 10 fps. Did you make sure that all browser windows that stream video data (preview, calibration, review calibration) were closed when you tested NVCom? T...

Re: No preview once calibrated

Hi Peter,

could you send the device configuration (downloadable from the web-interface maintenance page) to service@nerian.com? I will investigate the issue.

Re: NVCOM does not find SceneScan device

Hi Matti, subpixel optimization tries to improve the accuracy of the image correlation to an accuracy that is below 1 pixel (we compute with 1/16th pixel). This is a separate step after it found the initial correlation at pixel level accuracy. This method significantly improves the the depth resolut...

Re: NVCOM does not find SceneScan device

Hi Matti,

which firmware version is running on your SceneScan device and which NVCom version do you have installed on your PC?

Regards,
Konstantin

Re: Frame Rate of Cameras

Hi Sri, as I said, the network throughput is actually the limiting factor in case of color cameras. In through-put mode there is actually more data to be transmitted as you have two color images instead of only one color image and a disparity map. You will have to reduce your image resolution. Regar...
