Re: Changing the Resolution of the Camera

This seems odd. Can you please email your configuration (can be downloaded from the maintenance page) to service@nerian.com. Also please check that on the status page it says "Model: SceneScan Pro"

Re: Changing the Resolution of the Camera

The Pixel Binning configuration is found on the "Cameras" page. You should set binning horizontal and binning vertical both to 1 (you might have to change one after another). This configuration is set for both cameras.

Konstantin

Re: Changing in IP of the Camera

Hi Eren, you seem to have given your computer the IP address 168.69.69.5, which is the same address which you said you used for SceneScan. You need to give your computer a different address within the same subnet (160.69.69.???). If you can't get it to work, you can use the reset switch on the back ...

Re: Recommended Average Reprojection Error

Hi Aditya, this depends on your camera resolution and lenses. For a 0.5 megapixel resolution and non-wide-angle lenses a value below 0.1 pixels indicates a very good calibration. For higher camera resolutions you must expect a larger error. Also, for wide angle lenses you will get higher errors due ...

Re: Non-parallel setup

Angled camera set-ups are unfortunately not possible. You must mount them in a parallel configuration.

It is possible to get the system to work even with non-synchronizable cameras. But if the cameras or an object in the scene moves during image acquisition, you will receive erroneous results

Re: SceneScan Pro as active stereo

Yes this works very well. We have made good experiences with structured light projectors by Effilux (their EFFI-Lase projector). Also, consumer video projectors work well. Another option are laser pattern projectors based on diffraction, but they are usually much dimmer than an LED-based projector. ...

Re: Compatible Cameras

Hi! the cameras must support the USB3 Vision standard. This does not seem to be the case for the linked Ximea cameras. Ximea supports USB3 Vision with their higher-end board-level cameras. For example this one: https://www.ximea.com/en/products/usb-31-gen-1-with-sony-cmos-xic/board-level-cameras-usb...

Re: Can't detect calibration board

Hi Carlos There are a few reasons that could prevent a detection: * Low image contrast * The pattern is outside of the visible range for one camera * At least one circle of the pattern is occluded * The pattern is too far away * The pattern is very unevenly illuminated (e.g. a strong shadow on the p...
