Hello,
We have about 1 year old SceneScan pro with firmware 4.1.1.
If we update firmware to latest version does it has threshold parameter available after update?
Is recalibration needed after firmware update?

Hi Matti,

Updates from 4.x to 5.x might require a re-calibration as we had some changes to the calibration procedure.

What threshold parameter are you referring to?

Btw, firmware version 6.0 is just on its way and might be available next week if there are no further delays.

Best regards,
Konstantin

Konstantin,

Actually name of the parameter is Edge Sensitivity. Firmware 4.1.1. does not have that, I think.
With it I was able to get really good disparity images with almost no holes when I was testing your latest SceneScan pro.

Are we able to go back to 4.1.1. firmware after updating to later one?
Cameras are in a online process and cant be calibrated without removal.

Cheers,
Matti

Hi Matti,

the Edge Sensitivity parameter is still available in the current firmware. You can always perform a downgrade back to 4.1.1 if you experience problems
