Non-parallel setup

Hi again!

In the manual (https://nerian.com/support/documentatio ... manual.pdf), P.12, S.7.5 :
Both cameras must have an exactly parallel viewing direction. They must be
mounted on a plane with a displacement that is perpendicular to the cameras'
optical axes.
This is a big limitation for our case. Our stereo system has Stereo angle of at least 15 Degrees. Is there any way to overcome this limitation?

One more question please, If the cameras does not have synchronizations pin, will the system work? I know that the accuracy will decrease a lot, but would the system in general work or the synchronization signals are mandatory?

Thank you very much for your collaboration!

Angled camera set-ups are unfortunately not possible. You must mount them in a parallel configuration.

It is possible to get the system to work even with non-synchronizable cameras. But if the cameras or an object in the scene moves during image acquisition, you will receive erroneous results
