Our Karmin3 3D Stereo Camera
The Karmin3 3D camera is the latest version of our successful Karmin2 stereo camera. We offer the stereo camera with two different baseline distances in order to meet the various measurement requirements of our customers.
For 3D depth measurement at near range
- 5 cm baseline distance
- Ideal 3D measurement results from a minimum measuring distance of 0.1 m
For 3D depth measurement at medium range
- 10 cm baseline distance
- Perfect for measuring distances as close as 0.5 m
For 3D depth measurement at long range
- 25 cm baseline distance
- The higher baseline distance allows a better depth resolution at larger distances.
Accurate synchronization is essential when measuring moving objects. Therefore the image sensors are triggered by an external trigger signal, which is generated by SceneScan. Thus, excellent synchronization is guaranteed.
Karmin3 and SceneScan - a Powerful Team
Karmin3 has been especially developed for easy use with our SceneScan stereo vision sensor.
In combination with SceneScan, Karmin3 becomes a fully featured 3D depth camera, which enables highly accurate distance measurements even in bright ambient light and over long distances.
Therefore our Karmin3 camera is only for sale in combination with SceneScan.
